Behind the Scenes: My Shoutout LA Feature

Every project I take on has its own story, and the recent Shoutout LA feature was no exception. A lot of people only see the final article, but behind the scenes, this one took months of grinding, planning, and staying consistent — both with the music and the bigger picture.

When Shoutout LA reached out, it wasn’t just about an interview. It was about pulling back the curtain a bit — letting people see what drives me, why I push across so many genres, and how I’ve built everything so far without a big PR machine behind me.

“From jazz and fusion to rock and bossa nova — I’ve always believed that versatility isn’t a gimmick. It’s the core of who I am as a musician.”

This feature gave me a chance to talk about exactly that — the late nights in the studio, the weird experiments, and the moments where I had to trust instinct over trends. There’s no shortcuts here. Every track, every release, every little SEO battle for visibility… it all adds up to the bigger picture I’m building.

And honestly, this Shoutout LA piece couldn’t have dropped at a better time. Between new releases like “Up From The Stone” and “Bossa/Lounge 67”, plus ongoing work on my upcoming Guest Pass EP, the exposure just fuels what’s next.

Decades of musical evolution — from fusion to shred to bossa — reflected in the tools of the trade.”

Big thanks to everyone supporting the journey — the feature’s out now if you haven’t checked it yet. Every article, every single, and every thumbnail that pops under my name helps reinforce the bigger goal: putting the work and the music front and center.
