Multi-instrumentalist Nate Franchesco has announced the upcoming release of his new EP, Quantum Havoc, a project that blends speed, precision, and genre-bending creativity. Known for his ability to move seamlessly between jazz, fusion, metal, and blues, Nate delivers an album that highlights his technical prowess while maintaining his signature musicality.
Quantum Havoc is a shred-focused instrumental EP featuring four carefully curated tracks, each showcasing a different side of Nate’s virtuosity:
- Doctor Nitro — a fast, furious neoclassical shred anthem with blazing precision.
- Doctor Octane — a fusion-tinged hard rock/metal cut, packed with advanced phrasing.
- Neuro Cascade — a textured echo-delay masterpiece reminiscent of Van Halen’s “Little Guitars.”
- Up From The Stone — a swaggering hard rock track blending tasty slides, blues nuances, and tucked shred passages for subtle impact.
“Quantum Havoc is a callback to my early shred years,” Nate explains. “I wanted to revisit the high-energy, aggressive technicality from my past — but balance it with the feel and dynamics I’ve grown into over time.”
